Q: What travel documents should i have?

A: Of course, your passport is essential. Make sure that is valid for more than 6 months after your return date. US citizens now also need a visa for entering the EU/France.

Q: WHat should I pack

A: It is both an art and a science to pack light and complete.
Make sure you bring rain and wind gear, layers and good walking shoes. At the season we are travelling, the weather does not get really cold nor really hot. (so no need for the big down coat). A small umbrella for the city can be handy. (of course, you can buy one there, if necessary).
The braves among us might go swimming.
You might want one slightly more dressy outfit for our restaurant outings. But you can also do without. The Bretons are not very formal.
We will do day hikes, and will have couple of overnight out, for which a small backpack will be good to have.
France electrical is 220V. Bring a converter to use/charge your electrical devices.
You will have access to a washing machine and dryer most days.

Q: What weather should I expect?

A: Brittany is just like Seattle. It is rarely very cold, but it can be sunny or rainy anytime, and for any period of time. We will go ahead with our itinerary in most weather.
Temperatures and precipitations averages in Lannion.

Q: WHAT will the meals be LIKE?

A: As much as possible, we will eat like the locals. The “menu du jour” in most of the restaurants we go to are delicious. They often give few choices, including a vegetarian option, but not always. Alcohol is optional at group meals, and is at your own expense.

Q: WHat if I have dietary restrictions?

If you are vegetarian, please let us know in advance, so we can plan accordingly. For other restrictions, we will ask you for some flexibility and/or self care. Thanks for discussing those prior to the start of your trip.
